"The Lions Den"- Gymnasium
Appropriately named, houses our
Volleyball (3), Basketball (6) and Cheer (2) teams.
The Gymnasium was built along with the Upper School in 2007.
The gym holds six standard sized basketball hoops, three equipment rooms, two locker rooms and a 250 seat bleacher system.

Hadgis Field- Varsity Baseball
Hadgis Field is located on campus off of our back parking lot.
The field was built in 2008 and donated by the Hadgis Family in honor of former student Michael Hadgis. The field features home & away dugouts, full fencing surrounding the field, including a 20ft high backstop and electronic scoreboard in leftfield.
Recent updates: Covered dugouts, equipment shed, grass infield.

Susan G. Banks Field- Varsity Softball
Our newly built softball field was constructed in the summer of 2017 and sits near the back right corner of the campus.
The field features home & away dugouts and a standard size high school softball infield. The backstop is 20ft high behind home plate. The field also features a newly installed scoreboard and batting cage.
The field was made possible by David and Susan Banks!
Soccer Pitch- Varsity Soccer
Our field sits upon the massive field behind our Upper School.
The field is a standard high school sized pitch at 100yds long x 60yds wide.
The field recently went through renovations in summer of 2014 with land leveling, laser lining, reseeding and the installation of its own sprinkler system.
Grantwood Golf Course- Varsity Golf
The Lions hit the links at Grantwood Golf Course located in Solon.
Grantwood Golf Course is a wonderful 18-hole golf course for players of all skill levels. A spacious green belt area that consists of an 18-hole golf course with a large clubhouse, which includes a snack bar, pro-shop, meeting rooms, and a banquet facility that will accommodate 150 people. Catering services are also available. Additionally, a large shelter house is utilized on the site for golf outings, clambakes, and parties.
Adjacent to Grantwood Golf Course is Timberlake Recreation Park, a natural park with a large fishing lake, 2 shelter houses and numerous outdoor grills for picnics and outdoor gatherings.
John Carroll University Varsity Swim (practice only)
JCU has been housing our Varsity Swim teams since winter 2019-2020.
They feature multiple lanes of 25 yards in length, a timer and locker rooms.

Fitness Center
Gift of Anne T. & Thomas C. Hilbert in Honor of Clark Thompson Whitley
Our continually updated fitness center is located off of our Gymnasium and back hallway (Green Commons).
The Fitness Center houses two squat racks, three bench press machines, full dumbbell set, calf machine, dip/pull up system, treadmill, stationary bike and full cross bar system.
Outdoor Basketball Court
Our newly constructed outdoor basketball court (Summer 2017) sits behind our school near the soccer pitch.
The court was designed to give our students more opportunity during recess/activity and after school.
Features: 50ft x 30ft sized court with two 10ft high standard hoops and an enclosed 10ft high fence surrounding the court.
Trophy Case
Our trophy case has been filled throughout the years from our teams competing in tournaments and conference playoffs & championships.
Background painting completed and donated by Alumni Macey Tam '14.
Our trophy case is located by the gym entrance near the Middle School.
